Jad – the fast JAva Decompiler

There are plenty of open source API written in Java. So most of the time, you are able to check the source code of these API if you suspect the API have bugs.

However, it is still good to have a decompiler in hand. Jad is a good choice. Being written in C++, it is fast compare to decompiler written in Java. And Jad is free. It will not just let you to view source code but not allowed you to save into file, or copy the source code.

Jad is command line based. In order to use it with GUI, we recommend FrontEnd Plus. After install FrontEnd Plus, you can just double click your mystery class file, to see its source code.
